EPRS: Empowering Employers
Legazpi City: PhilHealth member and employer, Ellaine C. Tate of Personnel Solutions Manpower Agency visited PhilHealth Regional Office V to express satisfaction over PhilHealth’s Electronic Premium Reporting System (EPRS), which she says made posting easier for her staff members.
PS Manpower Agency is a relatively young employment agency operating in Legazpi City, with 135 employees assigned all over the region. The agency takes pride in matching the right people to the right job while maintaining high corporate standards for all its deployed employees. Believing in the age-old adage that the happy worker is a productive worker, the company ensures that all wages and benefits mandated by law and are due to the employees are complied with. These include, among other benefits, the employees’ PhilHealth premium deductions.
The EPRS comes at the most opportune time for this very young manpower agency as they make sure that the PhilHealth premiums of all their employees are remitted properly and correctly, and that posting of their contributions is timely and accurate.
Tate credits the fast transactions of posting to PhilHealth and the very reliable EPRS. Her HR people make sure that payment of contributions is made earlier than the deadline, and that these are promptly posted after. This, she says, helps assure her employees that their PhilHealth benefits are within reach should the need arise.
True to PhilHealth’s vision: ‘Bawat Pilipino Miyembro, Bawat Miyembro Protektado, Kalusugan Natin, Segurado,’ empowered agencies like PS Manpower Agency, also make things easy for PhilHealth to ensure financial risk protection for the formal sector, thus, Universal Health Care is no longer just a pipe dream. Not in PRO V. (Annel San Pablo)
