New OFC Leaders from Mt. Province attended Organizational Development, Project Development and Proposal Writing
Twenty Nine (29) OFW Family Circle Leaders representing the eight (8 ) organizations from Mt. Province attended the two- day seminar- workshop on Organizational Development , Project Development Training and Proposal writing conducted by Overseas Workers Welfare Administration –Cordillera Administrative Region in Bontoc , Mt. Province.
 
Mr. Marcelino Balaso Jr. of the Office of the Governor in Mt. Province delivered the Welcome Remarks expressing his appreciation to OWWA-CAR for developing the capability skills of their constituents in terms of managing their respective organization and at the same time updated them on the program of the provincial government. 

Workshop I: Structure Learning Exercise (SLE) entitledThe Tower Building
 
Ms. Fe Damaguen, the Social Ministry Officer from the Episcopal Diocese of Northern Central Philippines (EDNCP) was the Resource Person who facilitated the topic on Organizational Development. She started with levelling of expectations about the training followed by sharing of ideas and fun games.  The different groups presented their output, i.e. the importance of an organization, its goal, and purpose, understand the structures and elements that affect the organization as well as good management /good governance.  Further, they were able to come up with the agreement, coordination, dedication, willingness and involvement among officers and members for a stronger organization.
 
On the second day, Ms. Juliet P. Lucas , the Provincial Director of DTI-Mountain Province presented the Project Cycle Management by using the Project Design Matrix. The participants were able to understand on how to come up with a SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time-bound) project.  Ms. Lucas concluded the activitythrough critiquing from the group outputs and shared tips on how to make a viable project proposal. 

On the workshop, Ms. Lucas divided the participants into four groups. Each group was asked to identify a situation or core problem in Mt. Province.The groups were able to know how to trace causes and effects of these identified problems.
