Pinoy students bring home 39 awards from int'l math meet in South Korea
Filipino students brought home 39 awards, including two gold medals, from an international mathematics competition in South Korea last week. According to Mathematics Trainers Guild—Philippines, delegates to the 2014 Korea International Mathematics Competition (KIMC) in Daejeon, South Korea bagged two gold, four silver and eight bronze medals, and 12 merit awards as well as the champion, one first runner-up, and nine second runner-up trophies at the math meet.
