Pinay initially tagged as ‘associate’ in Las Vegas shooting cleared by police

Marilou Danley, the Filipina whose name was involved in the Las Vegas shooting incident on October 2, has been cleared by Las Vegas police.
"Wala, wala po siyang kinalaman," Vice Consul in Las Vegas Dyan Pastrana said in an interview on Unang Balita on Tuesday.
"Na-clear na po siya ng Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, kasi out of the country po nu'ng nangyari 'yung insidente, so...wala po siyang kinalaman. Na-clear na po siya," Pastrana added.
Danley, originally from the Philippines, is an Australian citizen who moved to the United States 20 years ago, said Pastrana. According to a separate report on Unang Balita on Tuesday, she is a casino professional.
Danley was initially tagged as an "associate" in the shooting in a Las Vegas country music festival, which has killed at least 59 and injured over 500. Police have identified local resident Stephen Paddock, 64, as the lone gunman in what has been dubbed the deadliest mass shooting in US modern history.
Danley and Paddock were roommates in a retirement community.
Pastrana added the Philippine consulate is monitoring the situation and will be ready to assist Filipinos who may have been injured in the shooting. —Nicole-Anne C. Lagrimas/KG, GMA News
