LOOK: JTF NCR Holds AFP Reserve Force Development Strategy Cascading to Strengthen NCR Stability

Quezon City – The Joint Task Force National Capital Region (JTF NCR), Armed Forces of the Philippines conducted a one-day cascading of the AFP Reserve Force Development Strategy 2023-2028 on September 4, 2024, at its Headquarters in Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo. The event aimed to integrate the NCR-Based Reserve Force with JTF NCR’s security and stability efforts in the National Capital Region. The activity brought together senior officers from JTF NCR, AFPRESCOM, the Philippine Army, Navy, and Air Force, along with their reservist counterparts. It highlighted the critical role of reservists in national defense, disaster response, and public safety operations. BGen Eric A Macaambac PN(M), Commander, JTF NCR, stressed the importance of reservists in strengthening defense capabilities and enhancing disaster preparedness particularly in NCR. The event covered key topics such as the security campaign overview, operational guidelines, and effective deployment of reservists in emergencies, setting the stage for stronger collaboration between regular and reserve forces.
