POEA will not admit visitors without an appointment

All external clients and visitors intending to go inside the premises of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) are required to secure an appointment prior to their visit, as a strategy of the Administration in minimizing face-to-face transactions as preventive measure against COVID-19. The “No Appointment, No Entry” policy covers all external clients and visitors except the Balik Manggagawa or returning OFWs using the BM Online Appointment System, and OFWs/individuals using the Records Online Appointment System, as well as the POEA and OSSCO personnel. Liaison officers or recruitment agencies intending to submit/deposit documents on prescribed drop boxes are also exempted to get an appointment but required to book an appointment in case of ingress inside the POEA building. All concerned clients are directed to book an appointment through the POEA Online Appointment System (POAS), which is accessible through the POEA website. POAS is an in-house developed web-based application intended to control the volume of clients accommodated by each office in compliance to social distancing health safety protocols. Also, as stricter implementation of health protocols, all clients with appointment are required to fill out a health declaration form. Valid appointment slip must be presented to the POEA security guards on the day of the visit, which is limited to single-access or transaction within the POEA. ###
