Saudi creative program celebrates 387 gifted students from 16 countries --- ARAB NEWS
RIYADH: A total of 387 talented students from 16 Arab countries concluded their participation in the ‘Arab Talents’ initiative organized by a Saudi foundation, state news agency SPA reported.
Through the initiative, the King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity, or Mawhiba, aims to empower talented students from Arab states and improve their skills.
Students participated in activities across various fields including engineering, physics, medical, chemical, and biological sciences, mathematics, and astrology over a period of three weeks.
The ‘Arab Talents’ initiative, organized as part of Mawhiba’s 2023 Creativity Program, focuses on discovering talents from an early age and honing their skills as the ‘leaders of change’ in the Arab world, Amal Al-Hazzaa, Mawhiba secretary-general, said in a statement.
Participants came from Saudi Arabia, Jordan, UAE, Bahrain, Tunisia, Algeria, Sudan, Iraq, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Kuwait, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania and Yemen.
