German Embassy’s new visa section appointment system starts Aug. 1

Starting Aug. 1, the German Foreign Ministry will take over the arrangement of appointments for the submission of applications for visas.

The German Embassy in Manila said this means the procedure for making appointments in its visa section will be changed.

"(By Aug. 1), appointments for the submission of visa applications will then exclusively be arranged free of charge via the appointment system of the German Foreign Ministry," it said.

For now, it said its external service provider will set the appointments.

"Until (Aug. 1), the appointment setting will be carried out, as usual, by our external service providers," it said.  Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News
