PHL downgrades security alert for Libya

Foreign Affairs Secretary Perfecto Yasay has approved the lowering of the country's alert level for Libya, according to a tweet by GMA News' JP Soriano.
From Alert Level 4 (mandatory repatriation/evacuation), the alert level was downgraded to 2 (restriction phase).
Nearly 3,000 Filipinos are still in Libya despite the government's declaration of mandatory repatriation due to hostilities in the war-torn North African country.
Libya has been in a continuing political crisis since the ouster of its former leader, Moammar Khaddafy, in 2011. —KBK, GMA News
