Government Warns Filipinos in UAE Not To Engage In Sex Out of Wedlock

Filipinos were warned against sex out of wedlock in UAE after couple got busted and is now facing jail term. The couple are now appealing their case.
This law is not new in UAE yet many couples still end up in bars after doing it. Over the years, similar incidents still occurs despite the warnings raised against sex out of wedlock. This warning goes not only for Filipinos but also for other nationalities.
“Perhaps there are those who genuinely do not know about it. They are perhaps unaware that there are things we can do in the Philippines that we cannot do here since there are differences in the Philippine and UAE laws,” said Attorney Barney Almazar, licensed UAE legal consultant.
