According to the investigation, a train traveling from Manhattan headed to the Bronx collided with another train, which resulted in the derailment of one of the trains.
Paramedics quickly responded, attending to the injured passengers and transporting them to the nearest hospital.
The accident caused delays in the operation of the subway and affected several commuters.
Among them was Filipina Ayin Reyeg, who told GMA Integrated News that she was waiting for a train to Queens when the accident occurred.
