Taiwan's multiple-entry visas now open for OFWs ---- By GISELLE OMBAY, GMA Integrated News

Taiwan has allowed multiple visa entry for foreign workers, including overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) based there. According to a report by the Migrant Workers Office in Kaohsiung, the Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) said that more than 150,000 OFWs could apply for these visas. MECO said that the multiple-entry individual visa allows the holder to travel to a country more than once and as often as preferred throughout the validity of the visa. MECO reminded OFWs who will leave Taiwan for vacation to inform their manpower agencies at least three weeks before their scheduled departure so that their resident certificate could be processed and be given the multiple-entry visa. — VDV, GMA Integrated News
