Mails to Maldives, Macau temporarily suspended –PHLPost

Filipinos who have relatives or loved ones in Maldives and Macau will have to wait before they could send them mails and parcels.
In an advisory on Wednesday, the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) said it would temporarily stop accepting mails and parcels headed to Maldives and Macau due to an airline embargo.
PHLPost reassured the public that measures are being implemented to assist those with mails headed for Maldives and Macau.
A circular from Postmaster General Joel Otarra has been disseminated to all post offices and area directors nationwide to notify postmasters, couriers, and tellers of the temporary suspension.
PHLPost said it will issue a notice of resumption once the situation returns to normal. Rie Takumi/KBK, GMA News
