Equal Jobs Opportunity under the Malaysia Labor Law

Migrant Care wish to express our concern over the press conference by YAB Lim Guan Eng and YB Chong Eng on "Hiring Local First" which send the translated message to Malaysian employers to "Sack the migrant workers first" in the midst of economic uncertainty.
It is always a common trend that politicians take the advantage of the economic situation to portray their patriotism to gain the political capital and popularity rather than looking into the legal frameworks that dictates Malaysia Law order and conducive industrial relations.
The wisdom of hiring local first in the midst of economic downturn to sustain the employment opportunity is a common sense most legislators should know, However, the action that demand the employers to sack the productive migrant work force and causing early termination of the migrant workers without proper compensation is retarding our existing legal and economic orders.
It is encouraging to learn that YAB Lim Guan Eng understands Outsourcing agent had openly exploit the migrant workers supported by the current migrant workers policies created by Malaysian Home Ministry.
DAP legislators could set trend to take responsibilities of prohibiting all the Outsourcing and the blood sucking foreign workers agencies license in all the Pakatan Rakyat state. YAB LIM Guan Eng can use his power to close down all the outsourcing agents and maid agencies in Penang state the state legislative process.
The only way to control such excessive hiring of exploited migrant workers having a single door recruitment and placement agency that fully control the intake and wages scales with equal job opportunities.
It is a mere rhetoric propaganda by DAP chief minister without proven positive pragmatic actions rather than to re-invent the current economic structure and create new jobs and extend the value chain in Malaysia economy infrastructure frame works to improve the well being of Malaysian citizen
