RP envoy brings holiday cheer to Filipino inmates in Brunei
MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam on Saturday visited the Filipino inmates at the Jerudong Prison Institution to bring some holiday cheer, an online report said on Sunday.
According to the Borneo Bulletin, Ambassador Virginia Benavidez, along with 19 other embassy officials, brought a variety of Filipino food, cakes, and drinks for the Filipino inmates during the visit.
The report said that the visit aimed to show the embassy’s concern and support for the inmates as well as to show that they were not forgotten during the holidays.
