PHL Congen in HK closed 3 days starting Jan. 31 for Lunar New Year

The Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong will be closed for three days starting Jan. 31 in observance of the Lunar New Year.

In a post on its Facebook page Monday afternoon, the Philippine Consulate said it will be closed on Jan. 31 and on Feb. 1 and 3. It will be open on Feb. 2, a Sunday.

Hong Kong's government site said that for this year, Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 and 3 are holidays.

But in case of emergency, the Consulate said it can be reached at the following numbers:

  • 9155-4023, Consular assistance
  • 6080-8323, Labor
  • 6345-9324, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration

The Consulate can also be reached via its website at www.philcongen-hk.com; Facebook at Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong; and email at hongkongpc@philcongen-hk.com.
