For Filipino Cherryl Macaraeg there is only one answer--return it.
That is what precisely Macaraeg did after discovering $143,307 in her bank account in Canada.
According to the Web site of The Mississauga News (www.mississauga.com) written by Nikki Wesley and published on July 4, 2008, Macaraeg went to the TD Canada Bank machine to withdraw $20 to buy ice cream for her son Gabriel .
The report quoted Macaraeg as saying that she thought that an angel was helping her with her bills.
She also thought that bank machine made an error. However, the bank teller verified the sum.
Not giving into temptation, Macaraeg decided to return the money to the bank.
She said in the report that she does not want to spend dishonest money to feed her son.
