DOLE: 21 foreign recruiters blacklisted, 19 erring agencies suspended
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) said the government has blacklisted 21 foreign recruitment agencies and direct employers, as well as suspended and canceled the licenses of 19 erring local recruitment firms.
The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) said those meted with suspension, fine or cancellation of licenses were found to have violated recruitment rules from January to July.
The agency also clarified that some of the licenses of the suspended and canceled recruitment agencies have been restored after their cancellation or were reversed on appeal.
The disqualified foreign recruitment agencies or direct employers identified by the DOLE were the following:

- Raffles International Christian School
- Al Tauqueet Trading and Services Est
- Al Tauqet Trading & Services Co.
- Noora Salem Saad Occie for Recruitment of Domestic Helpers Office
- All Pro Recruitment Agency
- Marwan Slim
- Food Equipment Supplying Company Limited (Fesco) & Thaer H. Abdou
- Wanasah Manpower Supply & Mohammed Naser Al Naser
- Bader Contracting & Trading Company/Bard Cont and Trad
- Speedy Tech Electronics Co. Ltd.
- Staff Buro Staffing
- Candice Cruz and Allan John Wilton,
- Jalal Al Jalal Construction Est.

The DOLE said the list was disclosed "to make the public aware, especially those seeking employment overseas, of the erring agencies."
POEA Administrator Bernard Olalia said the agency the action taken was in accordance to the government's bid to rid overseas placement industry of misfits, the labor department reported over the weekend. — Margaret Claire Layug/MDM, GMA News
