DFA reschedules Oct 15, 28 passport appointments
The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has rescheduled passport appointments for October 15 and 28, both declared non-working holidays in the country.
In an advisory, the DFA said Oct. 15 was proclaimed a holiday in observance of Eidul Adha, while Oct. 28 is a special non-working holiday for the barangay elections.
"Pinapaalam ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) na ang lahat ng passport offices sa Kamaynilaan ay sarado sa nasabing dalawang araw," it said.
It advised passport applicants who had set an appointment for Oct. 15 to go to DFA passport offices between Oct. 14 and 18.
As for the applicants who set an appointment for Oct. 28, they can go to the DFA offices between Oct. 29 and Nov. 4.
Applicants were advised to show proof of their appointments on Oct. 15 or 28.
"Kinakailangan lamang nilang ipakita ang katunayan na sila ay may appointment sa mga araw na ito," the DFA said. — KBK, GMA News
