Japan needs 50 nurses, 300 care workers —POEA


Japan is in need of 50 nurses and 300 care workers,  according to the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration.
A report on Unang Balita on Friday said the POEA announced that the deadline for applications at their regional offices is this Friday, May 10, 2019.
Meanwhile, the deadline for applicants at the POEA central office in Mandaluyong City will be on May 17, 2019.
Qualifications for nurses: 
  • a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing with active PRC license
  • a minimum of three (3) years hospital work experience
  • must be motivated and committed to work and study as candidate for "Kangoshi" to obtain a National License in Japan.
Qualifications for care workers:
  • a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (with or without PRC license)
  • a graduate of  four-year course but should submit TESDA National Certificate II in Care-giving (NC II)
