UAE leader shares message of support for PH amid Taal eruption
MANILA - His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates shared his message of support to the Philippines as the country reels from the effects of the eruption of the Taal Volcano.
In a post on his personal Twitter page, Sheik Mohamed said the people of UAE stands in solidarity with the Philippines during these tough times.
"Our hearts go out to the people of [the] Philippines after the eruption of the Taal volcano. We pray that these tough times are over with the least losses. The UAE stands in solidarity with the Philippines in these difficult times and is ready to provide all support and assistance," he wrote.
Sheikh Mohamed also posted the same message in Filipino.
Ipinapaabot namin ang pakikiramay sa mga mamamayan ng Pilipinas sa pagputok ng Bulkang Taal. Ipinagdarasal naming matapos ito nang may kaunting pinsala. Nakikiisa ang UAE sa Pilipinas sa hamong ito at handang magbigay ng suporta at tulong.

Sheik Mohamed is the crown prince of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
The Taal Volcano has been on Alert Level 4 for a week now, meaning a "hazardous eruption" may happen anytime.
