13-year-old Pinay reported missing in Jeddah
MANILA, Philippines - Fathya Abing, a 13-year-old Filipina was reported missing in Jeddah, the Saudi Gazette reported on Monday.
The report quoted Fauzi Abing as saying that her daughter went missing last August 29 after the girl left their house and reportedly went to a Macarona souq or market.
The father reportedly said that Abing was scolded by her mother before the girl left their house located behind the market and between the streets of Ghartana and Tadamon.
“I really don’t know the real reason why her mother scolded her, but it’s natural for parents to scold their children. The girl is very sensitive," The Gazette quoted Fathya's father as saying.
According to the report, Fauzi went fishing when the incident between his wife and his daughter happened.
The couple has been searching for their daughter and has put up posters in public places asking “all Christians and Muslims (to) unite in finding" Fathya. - GMANews.TV
