Pinoy nurses take part in Milan medical-dental mission
Filipino nurses participated in a medical-dental mission in Northern Italy last January, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said.
In a news release, the DFA said the Philippine Consulate General in Milan and The Philippine Nurses Association of Milan (TPNAM) held the mission at the consulate on January 24.
"About 80 Filipinos availed of the medical services and one sent to emergency for having been detected with unusual high blood pressure. Other medical and dental missions will be scheduled in Milan and nearby provinces by the Consulate and TPNAM every quarter," the DFA said.
The mission offered dental services and free tests for blood pressure, sugar, and ECG.
