Christmas tree greets returning OFWs at NAIA 2

With the holidays nearing, a giant Christmas tree was placed at the arrival area of the NAIA Terminal 2 to greet Filipinos from the provinces and abroad.

Christmas lights were also placed at the arrival area, as Filipinos are expected to return and spend the holidays with their families.

But this did not keep many returning Filipinos from voicing disappointment over some of the terminal's facilities.

Some who returned from Japan voiced impatience with the long wait for their baggage.

Others complained about the insufficient air-conditioning at the terminal.

However, some did forget the problems with baggage and air-conditioning when they got out and met their waiting families.

The arrival if Filipinos from abroad is expected to peak in the coming weeks as overseas Filipino workers hurry home to spend the holidays with their loved ones. — LBG, GMA News
