DFA: NCR Northeast office to start providing authentication services July 1

Starting Tuesday, July 1, the Department of Foreign Affairs will start providing authentication services at its satellite consular office in Ali Mall in Quezon City (NCR-Northeast).

In a statement, the DFA said the satellite consular office can now authenticate 12 types of documents, but so long as they are issued within Metro Manila. These include:

- National Bureau of Investigation clearance
- Police clearance
- Barangay Certification with Mayor’s Certification;
- NSO-issued documents in security paper including CENOMAR
- Affidavits of Employment, Trainings/Seminars, and Baptism/Confirmation with Regional Trial Court (RTC) Certification
- Other Notarized Documents (SPA, Affidavit of Support and Guarantee, Consent, etc.) with RTC Certification
- Medical Certifications authenticated by DOH
- PRC documents
- LTO License Certification (issued by LTO main office only)
- Foreign documents authenticated by the Philippine/Consulate or documents authenticated by foreign embassies/consulates based in the Philippines
- School Records (TOR, Diploma, Form 137, etc) with CHED, TESDA, or DepEd Certificate of Authentication and Verification (CAV)
- School records with CAV issued by state colleges and universities.

The DFA said the satellite office will also address authentication needs of applicants with claim stubs issued by the Commission on Higher Education-Metro Manila (CHED NCR).

It added the office will also serve as pick-up point for documents conveyed by CHED NCR for authentication.

“Unclaimed and unprocessed CHED NCR-conveyed documents with release dates from April to June 2014 will also be released at the said satellite office,” it said.

The DFA NCR-Northeast office is at Level 2 of Ali Mall in Cubao, Quezon City.  It is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday.

Three DFA satellite offices had been offering authentication services in Metro Manila. These include:

- DFA NCR-East (SM Megamall)
- DFA NCR-West (SM Manila)
- DFA NCR-South (Metro Gaisano Alabang).
