Pinoy nabbed for killing neighbor who tried to beat his dog in Malaysia

Malaysian police have arrested a Filipino man accused of killing his neighbor who allegedly tried to kill his dog at an informal settlement, according to a report on The Star.
Sandakan police chief Asst Comm Mohd Azhar Hamin said the victim,
believed to have also been a foreigner, entered the suspect's house to kill his barking dog at about 8:35 a.m.
Instead of hitting the dog, the victim hit the Filipino's pre-teen son, prompting the suspect to retaliate by hitting the victim repeatedly with an iron pipe, the report said.
“The owner went to confront him (the victim), and a fight ensued with the owner allegedly beating him with an iron pipe,” Mohd Azhar told The Star.
The Filipino took his two children after the attack and fled the scene to a nearby restaurant where he was arrested. He was confirmed to have a permanent resident status.
The case was classified as murder but police have yet to formally charge the Filipino. Rie Takumi/KBK, GMA News
