Search on for missing Pinay maid in Saudi Arabia

JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia – President Rodrigo Duterte has ordered the search for a Filipina domestic helper who has been missing in Saudi Arabia since last year, following the request of the OFW's brother.
A team from the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) led by Moh’d Noordin Pendosina Lomondot from the Assistance to National ng Office of Migrant Workers’ Affairs is in Saudi Arabia to look for Diosalyn Seva.
Seva's brother, Sgt. Michael Joe Fabian, personally requested Duterte to look for his sister when the President visited him and other wounded soldiers at V. Luna General Hospital in August last year.
Based on information reaching the DFA, Seva went missing last year after she left her employer whom she accused of maltreating her and violating her contract.
Lomondot's team is now coordinating with local authorities here and has enlisted the help of various Filipino groups in locating Seva.
The team has already contacted the recruitment agency in Saudi Arabia that deployed Seva, and the firm has assured the team of its cooperation, Lomondot said.
Aside from Seva, six other OFWs have been reported missing in Saudi Arabia, according to Lomondot.
The official urged those who have information on Seva to reach the Philippine Consulate in Jeddah through 0555219613 or email at ans@pcgjeddah.org. —KBK, GMA News
