Joel Villanueva chides gov't agents for taking photos with Alice Guo By HANA BORDEY, GMA Integrated News

Senator Joel Villanueva on Thursday called out Philippine officers for taking pictures including 'selfies' with dismissed Bamban, Mayor Alice Guo when she was turned over by Indonesian authorities to Philippine law enforcement agencies. "So unprofessional," Villanueva said in a Viber message to reporters after the hours-long Senate investigation into Guo's alleged escape from the Philippines. "Seriously, do you want to take a picture with this treacherous fugitive!" he added. Villanueva sent a copy of a photo of officers from the National Bureau of Investigation with Guo. In the picture, the four NBI officers were seen inside the car with Guo. The senator also shared a photo of another NBI officer taking a selfie with Guo and Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos. GMA News Online has sought comment from the NBI and Abalos on Villanueva's statement, but they have yet to respond as of posting time. Guo was arrested in Indonesia on Wednesday morning and is expected to be brought back to the Philippines on Thursday night. She has repeatedly denied the allegations against her, including her alleged involvement in the operations of a POGO hub in Bamban, Tarlac. —NB, GMA Integrated
