PESO, regional field offices

Baldoz encouraged students and jobseekers to visit or contact the DOLE’s regional and field offices and the Public Employment Service Offices (PESO) in their localities.

She said they can check there the latest job fair venues and the list of licensed private recruitment and placement agencies (PRPAs) and their authorized branch offices and representatives to guide them in their job hunting.

Baldoz said DOLE front liners and PESO officers will assist jobseekers in verifying the authenticity and legitimacy of companies and local recruitment agencies "so they will not be duped into non-existing jobs or illegal recruitment scams." - VVP, GMA News
