PHL Embassy in Saudi Arabia closed Aug. 7 to 11

For five days starting Wednesday, Aug. 7, the Philippine embassy in Saudi Arabia will be closed in observance of the Eid'l Fitr holidays.
In an announcement on its website, the Embassy left contact numbers for Filipinos to call in case of emergencies.
"Regular working hours at the Embassy will resume on 12 August 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.," it said.
During the holidays, Filipinos needing assistance may contact the following numbers in case of emergencies:
- Labor-related issues: 0545917834
- Other concerns: 01-482-3559 or 482-3615.
Eid'l Fitr, which falls on August 9 this year, is an important religious holiday for Muslims.
It marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan where Muslims offered prayers and made sacrifices.
