OWWA 10 Grants Balik-Pinas! Balik Hanapbuhay! to 3 OFWs from Libya

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY --- Overseas Workers Welfare Administration Regional Welfare Office 10 (OWWA – RWO 10) distributed Php 10,000.00 worth non-cash livelihood assistance last August 26 & 27, 2014 to three (3) repatriated Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) from war-torn Libya who arrived in the Philippines before the crisis alert was raised to Level 4 on July 20, 2014.

The all-male repatriates, two (2) from Misamis Occidental and one (1) from Misamis Oriental were granted starter kit of goods for their respective families’ sari-sari store after being displaced from their jobs due to the heightened political conflict.

The OFWs were also informed that they may avail other reintegration services/assistance such as the techno-skills trainings and computer literacy program offered by OWWA.
