PHL Embassy in Washington closed Oct 6, 7
The Philippine embassy in Washington D.C. will be closed on October 6 and 7, a Monday and a Tuesday, due to Philippine and US holidays.
In its October holiday notice, the embassy said it will be closed Oct. 6 for Eid al-Adha, a Philippine holiday as declared by MalacaƱang.
Eid al-Adha is one of the greatest feasts of Islam, and commemorates the sacrifice made by Abraham.
On Oct. 7, the embassy will be closed for Columbus Day, a holiday in the US.
