DOLE 75th goes Online

The DOLE 75th Anniversary goes online at the DOLE Logo Unfurling and Web Press Launch on September 24, 2008. Found at domain name, www.dole75th.com , the website features a sneak peek of nationwide activities for the DOLE 75th anniversary, photos and videos of the activities, news and features on labor and employment, and trivia on interesting moments in labor history. To commemorate DOLE's rich history, the site will soon be featuring an interactive history timeline marking important events in the Department's history.

The website is a joint collaboration between the Department of Labor and Employment and Vibal Foundation 's Filipiniana.net - the country's premier Philippine digital library and online research portal. An undertaking of the ILS Research and Information Technology Division (RITD), the project is led by Ms. Katherine B. Brimon and team members Linartes M. Viloria, Jaffar Maglangit S.
