MEDIA ADVISORY: “Fighting Corruption through Genuine Public Service.”






The Coalition Against Corruption (CAC), in cooperation with the Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC), is hosting a Summit entitled, “Corruption Busters in Action”. The Summit theme is “Fighting Corruption through Genuine Public Service.” It will be held from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Friday, October 12, 2018, at the Manila Diamond Hotel, Roxas Blvd, Malate, Manila.

The Summit will bring together participants from the business, consumers, overseas employment, transportation, environment, indigenous peoples, labor and trade unions, professionals, and academe sectors. It will feature speakers with expertise on such topics as the following:

·        Busting bureaucratic red tape and choke points through performance and operation efficiency;
·        Building strong leadership character to fight corruption; and
·        Increasing transparency through Information and Communication Technology.

The Summit will conclude with the launch of the GAWAD INTEGRIDAD SA SERBISYO in recognition of Filipinos with exceptional qualities, such as integrity in public service, among other traits.

The Coalition Against Corruption is a newly-formed non-stock, non-profit civil society organization that seeks to forge a broad alliance of partners, including government, in the battle against public and private sector corruption in all its forms. It is committed to set the highest standards of excellence and integrity in our individual and organizational conduct of the war against corruption, leading to the realization of a corruption-free society.
