2 Filipinos tested positive for COVID-19 in Lebanon — DFA exec

Two Filipinos have contracted the rapidly spreading coronavirus disease in Lebanon, the Department of Foreign Affairs said Monday.
At a news conference in Malacañang, DFA Assistant Secretary Eduardo Meñez said the two Filipinos are now under quarantine at a hospital in the Lebanese capital of Beirut.
The DFA earlier said the COVID-19 had also infected Filipinos based in Hong Kong, United Arab Emirates and Singapore.
Eighty Filipinos who had been on board the cruise ship Diamond Princess docked in Yokohama, Japan had also contracted the virus. Forty of them have since recovered from the disease, Meñez said.
In the Philippines, health authorities said they have already recorded 10 cases of the coronavirus disease. Of the confirmed cases, one died — a Chinese male. — RSJ, GMA News
