Saudi Arabia to offer 1M jobs for Filipino skilled workers — DMW By GMA Integrated News

Saudi Arabia will be offering at least one million jobs for Filipino workers, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) said. DMW Secretary Susan Ople said there will be a special hiring program for Filipino skilled workers, according to GMA’s Balitanghali on Tuesday. She added that labor officials from Saudi Arabia are set to visit the Philippines this June regarding the special hiring program. Ople earlier said the possibility of having a joint special hiring program was raised due to Saudi Arabia’s push to develop its tourism sector. She added that Saudi Arabia plans to explore the possibility of bringing investments to the Philippines. —Richa Noriega/ VAL, GMA Integrated News
