Remains of Pinay suicide in Singapore home in Cagayan
The remains of the Filipina who reportedly jumped to her death in Singapore finally arrived home in Ballesteros, Cagayan Tuesday.
Myrna Asidao, a domestic worker, reportedly jumped from the 15th floor of an apartment in Singapore.
Investigations concluded that Asidao committed suicide after she was accused of stealing $350 from her employer.
In fear that she might be sent to jail, Asidao jumped to her death.
Asidao's family was informed of her death on June 3.
Relatives, however, said they are not convinced that Asidao committed suicide. They said that the last time she called up her family, she was complaining that her female employer was jealous of her.
Asidao's family requested the National Bureau of Investigation to conduct an autopsy.
They also said they will seek justice if proven that there was foul play in Asidao's death. ABSCBN News
