Aug. 20 a holiday; 2 long weekends ahead

MANILA, Philippines (1st UPDATE) - President Benigno Aquino has declared August 20 (Monday) a regular holiday in observance of Eid’l Fitr.
Presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda said Aquino signed the proclamation today.
August 21 (Tuesday), Ninoy Aquino Day, is also a special holiday, which will allow a four-day weekend starting Saturday.
There will actually be 2 long weekends since August 27 (Monday), National Heroes Day, is a regular holiday.
Two long weekends: 

Aug. 18 to 21 (Saturday to Tuesday)
Aug. 25 to 27 (Saturday to Monday)
