11 recruitment firms delisted for failure to comply with POEA requirements

The government has delisted 11 recruitment firms for their failure to comply with the requirements set by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA).

According to POEA administrator Hans Leo Cacdac, the agencies are:

  • Summit Placement and Resources Transfer Corp.;
  • BLT Global Manpower Services Inc.;
  • Amirah Umaimah Human Resources Inc.;
  • Human Resources Overseas Employment Agency Inc.;
  • A & S Manpower Resources Inc.;
  • Global Hospitality Placement Agency Philippines Corp.
  • ETT Innovative Manpower Solutions Inc.
  • Transnational Resources Inc.
  • IDC Manpower Services Inc.
  • Kookies International Recruitment Agency Inc.
  • FMR-1990 Staffing Services Inc.

“Their licenses were revoked,” Cacdac said.

The first seven agencies were delisted for their failure to upgrade their provisional licenses to full licenses within the prescribed period, Cacdac said, but clarified that the operators of these agencies have not been blacklisted and could still open new recruitment firms provided they follow POEA rules.

On the other hand, Transnational Resources Inc. and IDC Manpower Services Inc. were delisted for their failure to submit applications for renewal of their licenses within the prescribed period.

The licenses of Kookies International Recruitment Agency Inc. and FMR-1990 Staffing Services Inc., meanwhile, were also canceled due to suspension prior to expiry of their licenses.

Cacdac noted that the order is final and the agencies no longer need to complete the requirements.— KBK, GMA News
