Japan denies visa policy for Pinoys already lifted
Japan has denied reports that it has already lifted its visa requirements for Filipino, Indonesian, and Vietnamese nationals.
In a statement, the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines said the Japanese government has not lifted any visa requirements for the three countries. It, however, said residents from all three countries are eligible for multiple-entry visas.
Details for multiple-entry visas are available at the Embassy of Japan's website.
Earlier this month, Japan's Kyodo News, citing "government sources," reported that the Japanese government is “making arrangements” to waive visas for tourists from the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
