2 Pinoy sailors hurt in accident off Bermuda

Two Filipino sailors injured aboard their ship while at sea were taken to a hospital in Bermuda for hospital treatment, according to a report on Royal Gazette.
The sailors, whom the report did not identify, were rushed to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital after they were transferred from the car carrier Pegasus Highway to Ordnance Island in St. George's on January 6.
According to news site Bernews, the two Filipinos "fell" when a rogue wave hit the Panama-registered Pegasus Highway during cargo inspections on Friday.
“Vessel was hit by a rogue wave during cargo inspections resulting in both crew members falling, one suffering lacerations to the face, and the other with head, hand and leg injuries," a Bermuda Maritime Operations Centre spokesperson said.
The two were given emergency aid onboard the vessel while it was "420 miles east of Chesapeake Bay, unable to return to the USA due to continuing bad weather."
