Pinoy arrested for sexual lewdness in Vegas
A Filipino from Las Vegas, Nevada was recently sentenced to at least two years in jail after he was found guilty of engaging in sexual activity with a minor in August last year.
Documents from the Clark County District Court of Nevada showed that Patricio Calida Paez had committed sexual seduction of a girl under 16.
In Nevada, statutory sexual seduction is committed when a person engages in sexual activity with an individual under the age of 16, even if it is consensual.
Under state law, individuals 15 years old or younger are not legally able to consent to sexual activity.
Paez was sentenced to a minimum of 24 months and a maximum of 60 months in prison. He is prohibited from contacting or associating with the victim or her family.
He is also not allowed to possess any sexually explicit material.
