DFA to launch passport with 10-year validity this Friday

The Department of Foreign Affairs is set to launch this Friday the new Philippine passport model with 10-year validity.
"Unang Balita" reported early Friday morning that DFA Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano will lead the launching of the new passport in a ceremony at the DFA-Office of Consular Affairs in Parañaque City.
President Rodrigo Duterte signed in August last year the law extending the Philippine passport validity to 10 years from five years.

But passports with five-year validity will stay for applicants aged 18 years and below, the report added. —LBG, GMA News
