DFA checking if Pinoys were hurt in Los Angeles shooting incident
The Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs is checking if there were Filipinos hurt in the shooting incident in a gaming complex in Los Angeles, USA that took place on Friday (Saturday afternoon in Manila).
Citing information from LA Philippine Consul General Adelio Angelito Cruz, GMA News' Mao dela Cruz reported on Super Radyo dzBB that the consulate is checking if there were Filipinos hurt in the incident that was sparked by a fight between two groups at a bowling alley of a gaming complex in Torrance, Los Angeles.
Cruz said that three people were reported killed and four others hurt in the incident in Torrance, some 32 kilometers south of LA.
Also, Cruz said there are more or less 4,000 Filipinos in the coastal city of Torrance, which has a population of 150,000. —LBG, GMA News
