Kin of newly-wed couple who drowned in Maldives to ask for gov’t probe

The kin of the newly-wedded couple who died in their tragic honeymoon in Maldives said Thursday that they would seek the government's help in shedding more light to the incident.
In a report on GMA News TV's News To Go, the relatives of Leomer and Erika Lagradilla said they still haven't received any explanation from the management of the resort where the incident happened.
They also mentioned that the couple's underwater camera has not been returned yet. They were hoping that the gadget may have captured what really happened in the couple's snorkeling activity last January 13.
Previous autopsy reports showed that Leomer died of cardiac arrest while her wife Erika died due to drowning.
The wake service for Leomer and Erika Lagradilla is being held in Lumban, Laguna after their remains were repatriated on January 19.
Their interment is scheduled on Saturday.
Leomer and Erika just got married in December 2018. — Dona Magsino/RSJ, GMA News
