Report: Kuwaiti assaults Filipino in Salmiya resto

MANILA, Philippines - A Filipino man was rushed to a hospital in Salmiya in Kuwait after a Kuwaiti national assaulted him at a restaurant there last Friday.

Online news Arab Times on Sunday reported that the assault stemmed from a "minor disagreement." It did not give further details about the incident.

The report said the Filipino sustained injuries and was brought to the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital. It did not name the Filipino or the Kuwaiti assailant.
