Deployment of Pinoy workers to Japan expected to start in the next 2 months

Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III confirmed that the deployment of Filipino workers to Japan may start in the next two months, according to a report on GMA News' Unang Balita on Wednesday.
Bello said there has been a delay in the deployment of Filipino workers due to additional requirements such as language proficiency and skills upgrading.
Japan opened its doors to foreign workers in April, saying it needed 350 personnel in the health care, building maintenance, electronics, and food industries.
