Nearly 400 Filipinos repatriated from Ukraine – DFA official

By RICHA NORIEGA, GMA News Almost 400 Filipinos have been repatriated from Ukraine, an official of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said. In a tweet, Foreign Affairs Undersecretary for Migrant Workers' Affairs Sarah Lou Arriola said a total of 394 Filipinos were repatriated from Ukraine as of March 29. She added that at least 40 Filipinos were evacuated and out of danger zones amid the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. Arriola said 30 seafarers from Ukraine arrived in the last three days. They included crew members of MV Ithaca Prospect, MV Filia Joy, and MV Nord Virgo.
