PH Embassy in Singapore to provide free legal aid clinic on Jan. 15, 2023

By GMA Integrated News Published January 8, 2023 10:32pm Filipinos in Singapore will be able to receive free legal advice from representatives of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) next week, the Philippine Embassy in Singapore announced over the weekend. In an advisory, the embassy said the legal aid clinic will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. next Sunday, January 15, in its office at the Devonshire Wing of 16th Floor at the TripleOne Somerset Building. The legal aid will be given by representatives of the IBP Quezon City Chapter, covering civil and criminal laws of the Philippines. “Sa legal aid clinic, magbibigay ng libreng legal na payo ang ating mga abogado mula sa IBP. Tutugon din sila sa ilang katanungan ng ating mga kababayan tungkol sa batas sa Pilipinas,” the embassy said. [In the legal aid clinic, lawyers from the IBP will provide free legal advice. They will also answer questions of our countrymen regarding Philippine laws.] Those who wish to avail should register through the links or through QR codes provided by the embassy on its official Facebook page. Walk-ins are also allowed, and will be accommodated on a first come first served basis.
