Mission: KAKAMMPI is dedicated to empowering Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their families by providing comprehensive support services, advocating for their rights and welfare, and addressing the intersecting challenges posed by climate change, including its impacts on migration patterns, livelihoods, and communities. Vision: Our vision is to create a world where overseas work is a matter of choice rather than necessity, where OFWs and their families thrive amidst the challenges of climate change, both in their home country and abroad. About Us: KAKAMMPI is a non-profit organization established in 1983, committed to serving the needs of OFWs and their families. We recognize the complex relationship between migration and climate change, as environmental stressors such as natural disasters, sea-level rise, and environmental degradation increasingly drive migration flows.
